Former Microsoft Marketing Executive Brings Expertise, Vision to Cloud ERP Leader
SAN MATEO, Calif.—December 18, 2014—NetSuite Inc. (NYSE: N), the industry's leading provider of cloud-based financials / ERP and omnichannel commerce software suites, today announced that it has appointed Fred Studer, a global marketing executive as its chief marketing officer (CMO). In this role, Studer will be charged with overseeing all of NetSuite's worldwide marketing initiatives and driving awareness and adoption of NetSuite's industry-leading cloud-based business management software as NetSuite's growth accelerates.

Studer is an accomplished and innovative marketing leader with a solid track record in both product and corporate marketing. Fred joins NetSuite after seven years at Microsoft where he most recently led product marketing, go-to-market strategy and execution for Microsoft Dynamics CRM, one of Microsoft's fastest growing businesses. During his tenure, Studer also had responsibility for Microsoft Dynamics ERP products including Dynamics AX, NAV, GP, SL, and industry solutions. Prior to his leadership roles in Dynamics, Studer was General Manager of the U.S. Microsoft Office business. He was responsible for the U.S. subsidiary revenue and P&L for Microsoft Office products. Before joining Microsoft, Studer spent 12 years at Oracle and for the last several years there was the Group Vice President of Marketing. His Organisation was responsible for identifying market opportunities, creating marketing strategy, and generating awareness and demand for Oracle applications and industries solutions. Originally from Denver, Colo., Studer received his B.S. in accounting and finance from the University of Colorado Boulder and is a board member of the University Of Colorado Leeds School Of Business.
