Girafa uses competitive pricing and an especially customer-focused approach to stand out from other online technology retailers. In addition to expanding its product mix and customer count, the business recently launched Passaporte Girafa. This international arm extends Girafa’s product curation from Brazil to the world, bringing the best in technology to the Brazilian consumer. Passaporte Girafa will account for an estimated 20% of sales this quarter, marking a quick rise in market penetration.

As Girafa expanded, finance processes and logistics operations remained slow and inefficient. For example, a single person handled the entire sales and billing processes manually. Finding an automated business system became a must, especially as online shoppers started expecting increasingly fast fulfillment.
Automation as the answer
Girafa chose NetSuite as a complete solution with integrated modules that could handle each of its current and future needs. Billing saw especially fast improvements: Girafa’s previous billing software struggled to process a growing number of transactions, so invoices were often created late. Moving on to a global expansion
As Girafa continues to expand its geographic reach, it will seamlessly manage finances across continents with NetSuite OneWorld’s real-time currency conversion, financial consolidation, and tax compliance capabilities. Girafa plans to keep strengthening its reputation as one of Brazil’s major electronics retailers and projects growth of about 30% next year, largely due to its partnership with NetSuite.
