Ibushak Turns to NetSuite Over Microsoft, SAP in Quest to Become Ecommerce Leader in Mexico

Mauricio and Salomon Bouzali combined a passion for retail imparted by their father’s 30-year career in the space with a desire to innovate when they founded Ibushak in 2004 to encourage Mexican retailers to sell their goods online. Ibushak provides technology and services for brands to sell their products on online marketplaces, including Amazon, MercadoLibre, Walmart, Ebay, Claroshop and Linio. As growth surged, it needed to gain better control over inventory and achieve better customer service.

NetSuite to replace Lightspeed Commerce: Ibushak chose NetSuite over Microsoft and SAP, replacing Lightspeed Commerce to run financials, accounts payable and accounts receivable, inventory, integrations with marketplaces, sales, and support. It went live in October 2015 to gain a unified view across eight channels and manage 75,888 SKUs, 42,000 transactions and 250 official brand clients with NetSuite.

Partnership with Walmart: The business has forged key partnerships with Walmart.com.mx and famsa.com.mx since implementing NetSuite, spurred by strong customer service and a real-time view of inventory across eight channels to ensure reliable delivery.

On pace for industry leadership: In the next five years, Ibushak plans to capitalize on the $4.38 billion Mexican retail ecommerce market to become a major player in Latin America. Having a unified view of business helps Ibushak better forecast budgets, ensure optimized inventories and leverage a 360-degree view of the customer to drive brand loyality.
