NetSuite webinar to demonstrate how cloud SRP fuels growth for services organisations

Empired Limited, AvVenta Worldwide and Marin Software Show How to Transform Organisations with NetSuite SRP

SAN MATEO, Calif.—March 16, 2012—NetSuite Inc. (NYSE: N), NetSuite Inc. (NYSE: N), the industry's leading provider of cloud-based financials / ERP software suites, today announced a webinar designed to help service delivery organisations understand the impact of Services Resource Planning (SRP), a breed of project-based ERP engineered to enable professional services firms and services teams at larger corporations to fuel growth and develop a competitive advantage. The research and analysis firm IDC estimates that the SRP market grew 9.1 percent in 2011, as an increasing number of services organisations implemented SRP solutions to improve efficiency, innovation and profitability. The webinar, "The Impact of Services Resource Planning," will be held on Wednesday, March 21, at 11:00 a.m. PDT (2:00 p.m. EDT). Register for the event at www.netsuite.com.sg/srp-webinar.

Guest speaker Michael Fauscette, group vice president at IDC, will outline the evolution of SRP and how it helps services organisations address such critical challenges as unintegrated business processes, limited visibility into project performance, lengthy cycle times, revenue leakage, and securing and aligning services personnel. Fauscette will examine recent adoption trends—including cloud-based SRP, which combines ERP, CRM and professional services automation (PSA) to enable firms to better control and accelerate their complete bid-to-bill lifecycles and eliminate reliance on inefficient standalone applications and spreadsheets.

The webinar will also feature Calvin Jackman, controller for MYCOM North America (www.mycom-int.com), a leading global provider of service assurance software solutions and information and engineering services to the telecom industry in over 30 countries. Jackman will share MYCOM's best practices and successes in using the NetSuite cloud-based SRP solution.

Webinar attendees will gain insight into how cloud SRP can help:

  • Streamline project and resource management by integrating these critical services processes
  • Drive talent acquisition and retention by increasing employee satisfaction
  • Increase real-time visibility into key metrics, including project margins, resource utilisation and cash flow
  • Manage the complexities of project accounting, including contract management and revenue recognition

"SRP is a revolutionary approach for services-based organisations—doing for the services industry what ERP did for manufacturers in the 1990s—enabling centralised management of the services lifecycle, from project management to billing to resource optimisation," said Edward Marshall, NetSuite general manager, services vertical. "Webinar attendees will learn the value and the real-world impact that SRP delivers to firms in managing their services business more efficiently and profitably as highlighted by our two distinguished speakers Mike Fauscette and Calvin Jackman."

More than 1,500 services companies around the globe use NetSuite's cloud SRP and PSA solutions to reduce IT costs, increase project margins and resource utilisation, improve customer service and gain real-time visibility. NetSuite has dominated the PSA market for four consecutive years, leading the field with a 26 percent market share in 2011, according to the SPI Research 2012 Professional Services Maturity Benchmark Report.
