“Without NetSuite, we would not have been able to function properly. Our old ERP system was on-premises, and things weren't connected. Information didn't flow in the same way as it does now.” Jason Ross, CIO, GetBusy

Crafting a New Path

Soaring stock success
Since 2017, GetBusy’s share price has risen to over 200%, and it’s posted 15% or higher revenue growth annually. The company offers its 67,000+ customers three core products: SmartVault and Virtual Cabinet file management software aimed at, respectively, growing firms and large enterprises, and GetBusy, its recently launched task management app.
Consolidation nightmares hit home
At the time of its demerger, GetBusy ran Sage Accounts in the U.K., QuickBooks in the U.S. and Salesforce across the organisation. It relied heavily on Excel for currency conversion. The company faced challenges billing for its Virtual Cabinet enterprise offering, and it needed an integrated financial system that would deliver real-time access to data across the organisation while automating inefficient sales and invoicing processes.
Three-way integration
GetBusy implemented NetSuite OneWorld ERP in three months. The result is an automated currency conversion process and integration between NetSuite, its Salesforce.com CRM system and its Chargebee billing software. The unified system syncs customer and billing data across platforms and automates accounts receivable functions critical to the sales and credit-control teams.
Working from home and in the cloud
When remote work took off and customers needed to securely pass digital documents, GetBusy’s SaaS-based solutions jumped in popularity—the firm posted an 18% uptick in recurring revenue in 1H 2020. Even as its 120-person workforce transitioned to home offices, GetBusy was able to handle its revenue growth without missing a beat thanks to its cloud-based ERP. Try that with an on-premises system.
