MyM Recubrimientos was founded in 2014 by a young entrepreneurial couple that realised there was a market opportunity and a lack of supply of luxury flooring materials in Durango, Mexico. The business grew quickly, but selling high quality tiles, marble and granite poses a challenge in terms of control as each stone slab has unique dimensions and characteristics.

Managing a Growing Business

Multiplying revenue 15 fold: MyM Recubrimientos gained traction with rising demand and its annual revenue has grown 15 times since its first year. With expansion in mind, the founders launched a second showroom and distribution location in January of 2019 in the city of Mazatlán.

The need for a complete solution: Fast growth and expansion required organised finances and inventory control. It became clear that the existing ERP system was limited for the company’s needs and it was imperative to find a cloud solution that could cover sales, inventory and financial management.

Developing the right fit: Following a friend’s recommendation, NetSuite was the chosen solution and implementation began in 2018, with continuous improvements throughout the years. Partnered with Solution Provider Efficientix, MyM Recubrimientos developed a business specific customisation to create full managerial control over each unique flooring slab.
