- Tourvest has doubled in size during the past four years, at a time when more people are booking travel online. It now has operations in Africa, India, the United Kingdom, Spain and the Caribbean, with 5,000 associates and clients throughout the world.
- Flexibility for the future
- The company was concerned about being held back by its previous financial software and wanted a wider-ranging, more flexible ERP system to accommodate its rapid growth and numerous operations in different countries.
- Best-fit customisation
- Tourvest found making modifications to connect NetSuite’s cloud-based software to its homegrown online booking system a breeze. It used a local implementation partner, BlueBridge One, to make a few enhancements for a closer fit to the travel industry.
- Overseas rollout
- Following its first year of using NetSuite for financial accounting and automated invoicing, Tourvest will next roll out the software to other overseas territories in the UK, Nigeria and Mauritius. The company is also considering wider uptake across the group and adding more CRM capabilities.
